A relevant story for today's polarized world, with an engaging narrator in Private Investigator Andrea Fabiano.
Fabiano is all no-nonsense determination as she rushes to help solve a crime before it further upsets an already divided city. Fine plotting and local color, and great working chemistry between Fabiano and lawyer Sonny Waite, who calls her in on the case.

Andrea Fabiano may not be solving the crime of the century when she takes on the embezzlement case of Darnell Evans. But her steely determination and ad hoc self-assessment as she goes about her business as a big-city private investigator keep you in her corner and reading to the last. All this while checking in at some of Philadelphia's iconic locations.

A fun read. Very enjoyable . I would love to see more of this P. I. The ending was too short. More details about the effect the embezzlement might have.

A short harsh view of prison life and what is needed to survive. Although a mere 11 pages long, it vividly captured the vicious life of a prison inmate and the attacks they must endure when they have no protection. Very well written!
