Philadelphia private investigator Andrea Fabiano is no stranger to tough cases that require her to roll up her sleeves and get her hands dirty. However, when she takes on what seems like a routine insurance investigation for her longtime client, insurance executive Nate Warner, she soon finds herself embroiled in a dangerous conspiracy that puts her life on the line.

Despite having just completed an arson investigation course, Andrea is unprepared for what she discovers when she begins rooting around the charred remains of an empty warehouse that was destroyed by fire. Shockingly, she finds the burned remains of a human body, setting off a chain of events that will test her investigative skills and push her to her limits.
